Selling marijuana is a Class E felony that carries with it up to 5 years in prison. Fines range from $1,000.00 to $10,000.00. The penalties are more severe if you were selling at or near a school.  As well, using a minor to distribute marijuana or selling marijuana to someone under the age of 16 will carry with it a minimum mandatory period of incarceration.

Marijuana Trafficking:

5-100 pounds is a class B felony, $25,000 fine and 2 year minimum prison sentence. 100-500 pounds carries with it a $50,000.00 fine and minimum 4 years in prison. More than 500 pounds carries a $100,000.00 fine and minimum 8 years in prison.
